The ride starts in 2 locations near the Old North End (Stir for avid cyclists and Good Neighbor for family friendly) and rides to Acacia Park where they’ll have an event with DJ Karson to benefit the Circle of Hope Foundation.

Circle of Hope is a fund at UC Health that helps cancer patients meet essential needs that might fall by the wayside as they are going through treatment and recovery. They may have insurance that covers treatment, medication, transportation but because they are often off work or limited on hours there’s no money for food, essentials, utilities, etc.

This is the second year of the ride. Last year, they had 100 riders and raised about $10,000. They’re on target to beat that this year and are looking for more riders… or ghost riders if folks want to get involved but can’t ride or won’t be here to ride. Here’s the thing… 100% of every donation, rider fee, etc. goes right to the patient fund.

This ride is open to members and first time guests (with signed waiver).  SOCO Velo has a 30-day trial membership if you would like check out our club and ride with us!
